2017 Peer Mentoring for Employment (ESF Communities Grant)

Our Peer Mentoring project is all about working out what you would like to do with your time and then being supported by your peers to help you achieve your goals. These could be from coming along to Brighter Futures once a week, to attending something like Converge in York, studying at college, or seeking paid work and anything inbetween. The programme lasts for six months and includes training on recovery, what this might look like for you and then mentoring skills. The emphasis is very much on supporting each other and having some fun along the way. As long as you are over 18 and unemployed you can join one of our free groups. We will be starting our first group in the new year and all you have to do is get in touch! Email us at robert@brighterfutures.org.uk
